Events and Actions are set up in Central Park, and then a mapping between the two is set up so that a certain action takes place under a specific event.
Action Definitions
Selecting Setup>Events and Actions>Action Definitions navigates to the Action Configuration screen.
Actions can be filtered according to action type. To add an action, select the Add button. To edit an action, select the edit button ().
Selecting Save will add or edit the action. An action now needs to be configured. Actions that have not yet been configured will have a () button. Selecting it will open the configuration editor. A configuration can be edited by selecting the (
) button. Various actions have different configurations. Here are a couple of examples.
Selecting Save will edit the configuration. An action can be deleted by selecting the delete () button. A prompt will appear to confirm the action.
Event Conditions
Selecting Setup>Events and Actions>Event Conditions navigates to the Event Configuration screen.

Mappings
Selecting Setup>Events and Actions>Mappings navigates to the Event/Action Mapping screen.
The Event/Action mappings are used to instruct Central Park how to handle the events and what actions to take. Mappings can be filtered according to Domain and Event type. To add a mapping, select the Add button.
Selecting Save will add the mapping. The mappings are sorted by their priority. Now this mapping can be configured. mappings that have not yet been configured will have a () button. Selecting it will open the configuration editor. A configuration can be edited by selecting the (
) button. Various mappings have different configurations.
The SQL query and the message template is entered in for the MQ Response action. The different actions for the various events will have different configurations, but are set up in the same manner. For some Configurations, it can be tested by selecting the Test button.
Selecting Save will edit the configuration. A mapping can be deleted by selecting the delete () button. A prompt will appear to confirm the action.
A mapping can be edited by selecting the edit () button. To increment the priorities of lower mappings, select the priorities () button.
