Engine Rules

Selecting Setup>Engine Rules will display the Engine Rules screen. Stored procedures are used to change or update certain values according to the specific business rules of the user. This usually translates into dates begin changed when a transaction is created. For example, NextBusinessDay changes the date of an instruction to the next business day if it was created on a non business day. A good example of this is for Debit Orders instructions being created on the 1st of January, which is a holiday.

A new engine rule can be added by selecting the add button or an existing engine rule can be edited by selecting the edit button ().

Engine Rules can be validated by selecting the validate button. A message is returned indicating the result of the validation.
