Bank Confirmation Emulator

The Bank Confirmation Emulator can be used for end to end testing in Central Park. A mock bank process will be created that will simulate the creation of the confirmation file so that the instruction document can be input and a confirmation document will be output. The confirmation document will then be fed back into Central Park as in the real world. Central Park can then process the confirmation file and perform matching.

• Go to C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Twenty57CentralPark\BankEmu

  • Double click on the executable file Digiata.CentralPark.BankEmu.exe to open the bank emulator application

• 1. Select Instruction type

  2. Enter Instruction document location

  3. Enter Output directory

  4. Click on Run

The relevant response files will be created for the selected instruction document that can be used for confirmation file testing purposes.

NOTE: This process is only a mock and cannot be interpreted as 100% definitive testing since the bank can change their process at any point and our mocks may not necessarily be up to date with their changes
